Privacy policy

Preamble

Stones & Heritage attaches particular importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, for what purpose, and how you can exercise your rights, in compliance with the new Swiss Data Protection Act (nFADP) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applicable in the European Union.

Data collected

We collect the following data:

  • Data provided via the contact form: name, email address, telephone number (optional), subject and content of the message.
  • Technical browsing data: IP address (anonymised), browser type, language, pages visited. This data is only collected if you have accepted analytical cookies.

Purposes

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your requests sent via the contact form
  • Improving the site and its content using anonymised attendance statistics (Google Analytics)
  • Complying with our legal obligations

Legal basis

Processing is based on your explicit consent (analytical cookies) or on our legitimate interest in responding to your requests and improving our service.

Retention period

Messages sent via the contact form are kept for 3 years, unless you request their deletion. Anonymised analytical data is kept for 26 months in accordance with the default Google Analytics settings.

Recipients

Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be processed by:

  • Our host Infomaniak (Switzerland) for technical storage
  • Google (Google Analytics) for anonymised statistics, in compliance with the standard contractual clauses and the Switzerland-USA / EU-USA framework agreement on data protection

Your rights

In accordance with the nFADP and the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your data
  • Right of rectification
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to object
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time
